Lewmar claw held fast
I have relied on a Lewmar 11 claw anchor for ten years in wind, storm, and calm. Mounted with 13 feet of heavy chain and 100 feet of 3/4” anchor line on my Cape Dory 26. Many nights spent on the hook. I lost all to a submerged tree at 44 feet depth. I’m ready to buy another.

Paper Weight?
I added 8 feet of chain and no matter how much scope I put out with an aluminum rowboat and 6 feet of water, I couldn't get this anchor to set. I tried to set this in sand and mud but both dragged.
