Fit to replace my old 5G leaking water heater
I wanted to replace my old leaking 5 gallon unit with this one as it look almost the same. Have to say that the replacement was almost easy as putting the new one and the same spot. Had to move it a bit to make all the fittings fit but all in all no big issue

Hello. AI have an old Force10 5 gallons water heater, seems like all the dimensions are ok but the D. Does it counts the valve behind it?
I replaced the very same force 10 on my 05 Hunter 27. The 5 gallon Kuma fit perfectly. Space was limited as the unit sits in front of my auxiliary under the companion way ladder. Even the old fittings lined up.

What size and type are the fresh water connection? What is the diameter of the heat exchanger hose barbs?
The heat exchanger hose barbs are 5/8", the fresh water connection is 1/2" NPT female.
