Description

The Quick Release installs easily on your boat, allowing for a flush mount into your cockpit or bulkhead. Locate one on each side of your vessel for quick and easy cleaning of muddy anchors and gear. With double Viton o-ring seals, connect and disconnect hoses under full pressure. The included hose adapter comes with a pre-installed check valve that connects your hose with a simple twist to the deck fitting.

  • Fitting: 1/2" Female NPT, 3/4" GHT male adapter
  • Top of Deck Fitting: 2-7/8" (73 mm) with a 1-3/8" (34.93 mm) cutout hole required
  • Unit: 3-1/4"(82.55 mm) long
  • ID Connection: 3/8"
  • Material: 316 stainless steel

This is chemical compliance hurdle provided by our friends in the EU -Europe.  Do your own homework. It’s a stupid wash down; the new version works great; and not going into anyone’s body. If you don’t want to use it then don’t use it Mr. / Ms. Activist.

Am I correct in understanding that the water feeding the bulkhead mounted connector can be left "on" when boating, without release, only coming out when the adapter is screwed in?
