The handles on the Refrigerator and Freezer are very poorly engineered. It takes working with the refrigerator door to open it. To open the Freezer door the refrigerator door must be open to get a grip on the freezer door to open it. I have written the company and asked for a newly engendered latch for the doors. They have known about the issue with the doors for a long time since the problem is on several reviews on the Internet. Isotherm should have found a latch that is workable by now. I have asked for replacement latches, given my email address, phone number, and physical address with no response! My husband is a Farmer which encompasses most any occupation. I'm sure he will make a handle for the doors so that they can be opened without a struggle. If my Farmer Husband can re-engineer the door handles, the engineer at Isotherm should be able handle this job with ease! Get On It!
