Simple, fast, and effective for flushing a Honda 5
If you operate your Honda 5 HP in salt water, this is a far better way to flush your motor versus running it in a barrel of fresh water. "Ear-muff" type flushing does not work on this motor. Just unscrew the screw where is says Flush (in the lower unit) then crew this in and hook it to a water hose. Your biggest challenge is getting the motor's screw loose. Replace the stew with a stainless hex key screw that you can more easily remove for the flushing.
