The Harken 29 mm Carbo Air Cheek Block (350) is a lightweight, strong and affordable block. They enable safe and easy sail trimming and are 30% lighter, with a 60% higher working load, than Classic blocks.

I purchase this and am planning to use it as a cheek block ... will work fine for my purpose. Just curious about the "patented switch" mentioned in the description ... I don't see anything like that.
Patented switch locks shackle in front or side positions, or lets block swivel to keep line from twisting.
If all you need is a static cheek block another product may be simpler.
