- Groco TPC Series 90° tail pieces are comprised of two pieces
- The swivel may be rotated in any direction to facilitate ease of hook-up; then the nut is tightened
- TPC Series tail pieces are threaded with NPS (straight) female pipe thread
- The use of TPC Series tail pieces on products with NPT (tapered) pipe thread is recommended only for low pressure applications, and then only with a generous application of pipe sealant or thread tape
- Applications: GROCO SV Series seacocks or with any product with straight male pipe thread

Be Careful! Misleading Dimensions.
This appears to be a quality casting, but be aware that this Groco Tail Piece reduces the flow from the NPS pipe thread side to the other end of the tail piece. For example, using the 1" Groco Tail Piece, the NPS pipe thread side has an ID of 1". However, the other end of the tail piece has an ID of 3/4", and an OD of 1". Thus, the inside diameter is reduced from 1" down to 3/4" through that tail piece.
