Description
The GST 43 is a thru-hull transducer that can read water speed and temperature. The transducer can retrofit an existing Nexus 43mm thru-hull transducer (TH43).
Bundled with the GST 10, the GST 43 can connect directly to the NMEA 2000® network, and the information can be displayed on a compatible Garmin chartplotter or instrument display.

Replacement of speed transducer
The old Nexus transducer on my J30 stopped working after more than 15 years of operation. The replacement was easy to install, just pulling the cable, connecting to the navigation computer, and plugging the transducer in the through hull. The calibration was easy on a calm evening under motor.
