Description
Epifanes Polyurethane Clear Gloss is a two-component coating, based on unsaturated polyesters that dries as a completely clear finish. Featuring a high U.V. protection and resistance to abrasion, weathering, chemicals, this Polyurethane Clear Gloss is ideally suited for plywood, coating epoxy resins, saloon tables and cabin soles.

Happy so far
I build hallow wooden paddle boards. This was my first time using Epiphanes. I usually use Interlux Perfection Plus but it is discontinued I guess. Application was exactly the same. It cured beautifully. I applied 3 coats with a foam roller and didn’t even need to smooth it with a brush. Temp was about 72 and humidity about 45%. I cannot compare long term results since it’s only been a month but very happy so far.

High gloss, super hard finish
I used this clear gloss product to topcoat trim that was pre-coated with epoxy. The product is crystal clear and flows out very well to leave a very high gloss finish. It takes a few days for the finish to cure completely, but when it does, it is rock hard and looks terrific.

Questions
I need to apply multiple coats. What supplies do I need to measure components for mixing partial quarts?
Epifanes coatings are measured by weight either 2:1 or 4:1. Buy a cheap kitchen scale from Amazon so you can mix small amounts.

This product is easy to use for a two part paint and provides much better protection then all of the other one part varnishes I have tryed
