Questions
The product details do not match the product: how does a holding tank diptube relates to an A/C system? What would help is the actual size - everything needed to fit into a custom holding tanks, then TEE and 1 1/2 hose adaptors... Thanks!
You got us! Our web page is totally incorrect. Thank you for pointing that out. To answer your question:
The Dometic Holding Tank Discharge Diptube Kit is used to evacuate your holding tank via a Pump-out station from your Deck Plate or an Overboard Discharge Pump.
A stand pipe is installed in the top of the tank through a grommet that creates a leak proof seal. The pipe reaches the bottom of the tank to ensure a more efficient evacuation of the holding tank. The 1.5" FPT (female pipe thread) flange on the top of the assembly accepts an 1.5" MPT (male pipe thread) x Hose Adapter or PVC Adapter to best suit your discharge line needs.
This Kit Includes:
2" Sealing Grommet (needing a 3" hole saw)
1.5" Flanged Fitting
2 foot -1.5" Pvc Pipe
Angled Foot (foot style may vary)
