Description

Cole Hersee's Selector / Master Disconnect Battery Switch combines functions of Battery Selector and Master Disconnect Switch for (4) battery power option.

Make-before-break design permits operation through the (3) ON positions with engine running. Engine should always be shut down before turning to OFF.

Features:

  • (4) Battery power options:
    • Power ON, battery 1
    • Power ON, battery 2
    • Power ON, both batteries
    • Power cut off at source
  • Make-before-break contact design allows switching between battery banks without power interruption
  • Use with either alternators or generators
  • Vapor proof, weather-, dust- and corrosion-resistant
  • Durable fracture-resistant high temperature plastic case, knob and insulator
  • Heavy duty copper stud terminals, with brass hex nuts
  • Can be surface mounted, or installed through a 3-5/16" dia. hole in panel

Hi. I have one of these in a 1969 VW bus that I purchased at auction. Can you please tell me what the purpose of this device is? I’m sure they are all related, but There are 2 batteries, an inverter, and a 120v port for backup power.
