Rubbaweld
So many products that have a shelf life are not marked as such. This tape had obviously lost its adhesive quality and would not permanently bond. It was wrapped tightly around the base of the mast and appeared to be as intended. However upon returning from lunch I found a pile of spaghetti. Nothing I did resulted in the intended purpose of the tape.
