The Blue Sea Systems Marine-Grade Short Stop DC Circuit Breakers are a great alternative to fuses. They are thermal trip breakers that can be installed just about anywhere. These can eliminate having to find a new fuse to replace a blown one which is a huge help, especially in the dark.
