Description
Beckson's Screw-Out Deck Plates provide watertight access points for the inspection and cleaning out of tanks and compartments, or as general access for shut-off valves and repairs.
Features:
- Designed to provide easy access without the use of tools
- Single start, non-jamming buttress thread
- Back-up sealing wall ensures the plate remains waterproof even if the gasket is removed
- Ideal for compartments where a change in air pressure due to temperature or oil canning can occur
- Not recommended for use directly into a fuel tank
- Clear center plate permits observation of controls or gauges for visual inspection

Works for more than Boats!
Worked like a Charm!! We used this as an access port for a sewage lift station. We will most likely order lore of these in the future whenever we install lift stations as a means of access for inspection & service.

Questions
Can you use this for a fresh potable water marine tank inspection port?
Yes. I've installed two on stainless steel tanks, to replace solid stainless tanks I had to unscrew to inspect. Had to screw a few new holes in the flanges of the new ports, but not a big deal.
