I had to buy a new one after 4 years because it failed. B&G/Navico product support is useless for diagnosing problems. The best than can do repeat user manual instructions and response time is very slow. AI provides the same or better information.

B&G wireless wind WS320........ best to avoid
I returned this sensor after reading online reviews. Apparently it uses a NIMH battery rather than lithium battery, and many people have found that it only lasts 1.5 to 2 years rather than the 10 years the manufacturer claims. To make matters worse you can not just go up the mast and replace the battery, because after replacement you must pair the unit to the base station again and do to that you need to be within 1.5 meters from the base station. Thus you need to go up the mast twice to get it working again. No thanks. I went and bought a wired sensor. Defender was very reasonable and refunded my money promptly.

Happy so far
Two months now, so far so good. Receiver below deck 60 ft from mast head transponder. Pair with transponder and receiver close together , energize both as simultaneously as possible.
