Don’t waste your money
I purchased all the components to go with alexseal paint and primer and was put in touch with a service representative. The first two quarts of primer I got were bad and was told I would get a replacement two quarts which never came. I had enough to paint the hull of my 25 ft mako and after talking with the service representative I followed instructions TO A T. The product performed like advertised and the end result looked great…..fast forward a month when I got around to painting the top side of my boat and I used blue painters tape to mask off edges. After finishing the top coat of paint upon removing the blue tape, the hull paint came with it in multiple areas. I spent $1500 dollars on paint and components and countless hours of prep work all to have blue painters tape peel off exterior paint upon removal. Will not get any sort of refund and repairs will take countless hours. Do not recommend. I wish I had gone with total wet edge for far less money because of this happened with that I wouldn’t be out nearly as much money. Very disappointed In defender and alexseal.
