Simple replacement
Exact replacement for my 2004 Catalina 387 fridge thermostat. It took 10 minutes to replace, and the fridge was up and running.

Replacement Thermostat
I bought this in error because I did not realize the Evaporator already came with a thermostat! I now have a spare.

Questions
Will this replace a f1710jr270 for my alder Barbour refrigerator? What does the connection look like?
Have an older Dometic Condensing unit CU-100. Unit does not get cold and sometimes does not kick on. Will this thermostat work with this unit? It appears to have the same connections.
Not knowing your unit, The chances are yes. This is decades old thermostat technology. I replaced mine in a 2000 Beneteau with an Adler Barbour Compressor and it works fine.
You can use a screwdriver to bridge two of the terminals and if the compressor comes back to life, it is the thermostat that needs replacing. Small price for ice.

Do you have an electrical diagram for the tab connections of this thermostat? I am unsure which wire connects where (there are 2 silver on the chassis, one vertical labeled 3, and two horizontal labeled 4).
I don't see a way to upload drawing. Assuming the switch is being held with the dial facing up, The yellow wire goes on the vertical brass colored pin and the green wire goes on the horizontal brass colored pin farthest away from the vertical brass colored pin wich holds the yellow wire. The other pins are not used on my configuration.
I only have 2 wires going to the switch.
