The Jury Is Still Out...
The jury is still out on this dinghy. Initial impressions are that it's well made. The seams are strong. Inflation and more importantly deflation is easy. The only initial issue was that getting the seat to slide on was difficult.
I've only taken it for one ride. With a Torquedo electric motor, it doesn't track straight. I had to keep an almost 45 degree twist in the motor to go straight. I called Achilles who said that perhaps I didn't inflate the inflatable keel correctly or that the inflatable floor was not properly seated. I'll give it another go to see if I can correct the issues.
One hint is that I got the 6hp equivalent Torquedo motor, and it's oversized for the dinghy. If I were to buy again, I'd go with the 3hp version.
