YKK 580 Heavy Duty Separating Zippers

• If you need to shorten the zipper, simply cut from the top and whip the cut ends with sail twine or secure a piece of leather over the teeth so that the slider cannot be pulled off
  • Or, for a more finished look, remove two zipper teeth from the waste, on each cut end place a tooth between the two top teeth and melt the three teeth together with a hot knife
