Description
Rule Automatic Bilge Pumps feature computerized operation based on impeller resistance.
Features:
- No float switch required
- Pump automatically turns on every 2-1/2 minutes for approximately one second to sense for water
- When water is present, pump remains on until water is removed and then shuts down
- After water removal, pump reverts back to 2-1/2 minute sensing mode
- Pump uses minimal power in water sensing mode

Automatic function failed twice
The first example failed to work in automatic mode, so I received a replacement from Defender which also failed to work in the automatic mode. I purchased and wired in a Water witch float switch which now works as an automatic system. Kudos to Defender,but not Rule. In it’s present setup it does pump as promised.
