is this compatible with raymarine st40 bidat / original seatalk (circa 2003)?
i actually spoke to raymarine in nh. yes, they told me it was intended for the wireless interface but since it is analog that it is compatible with st40 series

is this compatible with Garmin 741 XS
This transducer would not be compatible with the 741xs. The appropriate in hull transducers would be either item #1000591 or #1000590. If you need assistance selecting a through-hull option, please contact customer service directly!

does this transducer also province temp and speed data? or just depth. And can you suggest a low cost display unit that it compatible with this transducer?
This transducer does depth only. It is meant to work with the legacy Tacktick instrument system from Raymarine.
