                  Description

The Higfield 310FD is light and easy to transport, while still having capacity for up to 5 people and a 15 HP engine, with a full flat floor for better footing. As their name suggests, the Ultralites' low weight make them a real alternative for those who may have chosen a soft bottom tender in the past but would prefer the performance of a hard hull. Ultralite tenders are roomy and strong, yet light and easy to transport. These little boats can be launched and recovered by a single person, and are easily transported on a roof rack. The UL hull is built from 2.5 mm thick powder coated marine grade aluminum, and the tubes feature 1100 Decitex Valmex® PVC or Orca® Hypalon material, cut and assembled to exacting standards. The simple layout of the UL, with an uncluttered design and numerous standard accessories, make the UL series one of the best values in inflatable boats.

                  speed max ?

                  Asked by: stef
Hi Stef, Unfortunately Highfield does not have any performance data for this package, and the max speed can vary dependant upon a lot of unknown factors: Do the passengers weigh 150 lbs each or 350 lbs each? What about the weight of the gear? And the fuel tank? And the cooler full of ice & beer? And the dog (if you have one) is it a Chihuahua or St. Bernard? Weight distribution in the boat? Too many variable come into play so we do not comment on the potential performance of any of the products we sell, and keep in mind that the shorter a boat is, the harder it is to get on plane. Boats like this are meant to be dinghy’s to shuttle people back and forth (they are only 10’ long after all), not a sport boat that zips across the water (but yes, we’ve all seen some zipping around the bays and rivers).
