Note: AIS target range, like VHF range is dependent upon a number of installation factors such as; antenna gain, antenna height and size of ground plane. Ranges in excess of 20 miles should be possible if all of these factors are perfect.

Questions
With this system, How are the functions such as silent mode controlled if located under the console and not easily accessible? Can the functions be controlled from my existing MFD or do I need to access the unit to make theses changes?
These functions are controlled thru your Chartplotter/MFD in the settings menu.
